Tracy creek memorial
church history:
After 1935 In 1935 the old church was moved and placed on a new foundation in the location where the church stands today and the Sunday School was able to use the new rooms in the basement. Many of the parishioners enjoyed outings to Lily Lake Camp in Port Crane, New York during those years as well.
In September 1951 the church reorganized as an independent church, taking the name “Tracy Creek Memorial Church”, and completed its doctrinal statement and by-laws in 1952. The church members sold the old parsonage in 1956 and purchased the land across from the church in 1957. There they built a parsonage, largely by their own hand, which they completed in 1958.
Then in 1964 the church body decided to join the Christian & Missionary Alliance as an affiliated but independently governed church. The church had grown and felt that we should and could support a full-time pastor. From that time forward our Pastor’s have been supplied through the C & MA.
