I am excited to be sharing with you the ministry of Tracy Creek Memorial Church- a church where grace is in place and where there is place for you- to worship, to grow, and to serve. It is a privilege to be leading this group of progressive and vital people forward in the service of Christ. With a long and rich heritage, the church continues to adhere to its purpose, vision and mission proclaiming Christ to people from Newark Valley to Binghamton, from Endicott to Little Meadows and everything in between. People of many faiths and backgrounds have found a church home in this church on the hill. I would be happy to welcome you to join us if you are looking for a place where God’s word is preached, taught and applied to the needs of your life. And there is also opportunity for you to live as a Great Commission Christian fulfilling God’s purposes for you and to hasten the glorious return of His Son, Jesus Christ.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Do you need a “pick-me-up” for the week? Many times we remember to pray when we are down. Sometimes answers are immediate, sometimes they are not. Consider adding praise to your prayers. The apostle Paul taught us that thanksgiving should be included in any prescription for prayer. The phrase “with thanksgiving” in Philippians 4:6 reminds us not only of the power of praise but of the element of faith that it involves to be able to thank God for something you have not yet received as though you have already received it. In Colossians 3:16, the apostle further instructs us to “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.” (Col. 3:16 NIV). Give praise a try!
